CHANGE in date for final part!  Book Reports for 4th Term:  Students will be writing their 4th term book reports.  Remember that these books are read outside of class; however, the book reports are done in class.  Total points for the book report will be 100 points.

• First part of the book report (worth 25 points) will be on April 10 or 11.
• Second part of the book report (worth 25 points) will be on  May 2 or 7.
• Final part of the book report (worth 50 points) will be on May 21  (B day classes) or 22 (A day classes).

CHANGE in date!  Journals:  Students will continue to keep information in their journals throughout the term.  Journals will be turned in on May 20 or 21.  Remember that these journals are an important and large part of a student's grade. 

Coming Up in 4th Term: 

• Students will be reading stories and poems by Edgar Allan Poe.  They will also be reading several other poems from other authors. 
• During May, students will be reading the novel, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton.  This novel is read in class and does not count for the book report that will be due in fourth term.  
• CRT Testing:  Between April 28 and May 13, students will be taking CRT Tests.  Students in my classes will be taking three CRT English tests during that time.
