Fri March 12 -

We shared "bongaloos" or talents with the class today.  We have been talking about how our families, personality characteristics, and now how our talents makes us unique.  Everyone needed to think of something that they could do that not everyone else could do or just something about themselves that makes them unique.  We wrote about this on a scratch piece of paper and turned it into the basket.  Students who were absent today need to write a paragraph describing something that makes them unique and turn it in.  Students who brought something to share received extra credit.

Thus March 11 -

We talked about personality today.  We did page 3 (personality pie).  Write 10 words that describe you on the outer crust.  Then on the inisde write a sentence that describes how you are that word.  For example is you write musical as one of your words on the crust then you can write 'I play the piano and like to sing" on the inside.  Tomorrow we are sharing talents with the class.  Think of something that you can do or something that makes you unique.  If you bring an item to share that respresents this or if you perform your talent you will get extra credit.

Wed March 10 -

We finished our family unit today and completed page 8 inour CTE folders.  At the top write down what you do for traditions in your family.  At the bottom make up your own tradition for you new CTE family we had in class.

Tues March 9 -

Today we talked about families.  We did page 6 in our CTe folders where students wrote about their families.  Then we did page 7 and did an activity with a group.  Students who were absent today can get their folder and complete page 6 and page 7 - they might need to get the notes from a friend for page 7. 

Mon March 8 -

We switched CTE classes today - Mr. Selk's class is now in Mrs. Stevenson's class and the old class is now in Mrs. Nate's class.  Today we read through the disclosure and completed a scavenger hunt assignment.  The disclosure and scavengure hunt is attached.  Most of the answers are in the discloure, but some of them are foudn in the classroom.  Students who missed today will need to complete everything they can from looking at the disclosure and then come to class and find the rest.  We also gave our our CTE notebooks that have all of the assignments for the entire 12 weeks in this class.  Students who missed today can pick one up from Mrs. STevenson when they get back.  This folder can be kept in class and will be $2 to replace if lost. After getting the folder from the teacher students who missed today willo need to complete page 1 (all about me).
