Friday November 13 - No Class - A Day

Thursday November 12 - Today students were allowed to redo the "Cutting Us Down To Size" map activity.

Wednesday November 11 - Today the students were assigned and completed the Chapter 7 Review which is found on page 141.  We also held a discussion about the importance of following instructions.  As an example, I shared with the students the results of the map activity, "Cutting Us Down To Size" where many students received low scores since they did not follow instructions.  I told the class that I would allow them to redo the assignment, paying close attention to the instructions.

Tuesday November 10 - We discussed portions of chapter 7, and reviewed notes from yesterday.  As part of our discussion students were to complete the chart on page 136.  For your convenience, a copy of the unfinished chart is available on this website.

Monday November 9 - We once again practiced taking notes using the Cornell Method.  Today we practiced taking notes while reading.  We read and took notes on pages 129 - 132.
