Volunteers

We welcome any parents that would like to volunteer and help in the Physical Education classes.  We will take you when you are availible and would love to give you any training you feel you need.  It could be a good way for you to get your daily exercise!Laughing

We also could use anyone with great organizational skills, that would like to donate some time.

  • Skill/Fitness Test Rubrics
    This has the rubrics of scores for all the skills and fitness tests to be done in boys Physical Education.
  • Effort/Sportsmanship/Teamwork Rubic
  • Responsibility Rubric
  • Class Disclosure Statement
    This describes the class and should be reviewed by the parent/guardian(s) with the student. Student is to cut off and return the bottom portion with signatures.
  • Exercise Log
    This assignment is to be turned in at the end of one week. Students are instructed to acquire and log at least ? hour of physical activity 6 out of 7 week days.
  • Fitness Article
    Students are to find and turn in an article or a copy of an article in the media that relates to the benefits of exercise or the benefits proper nutrition. Students are to list or write out at least three benefits or consequences the article mentions.

Tests can be retaken on specified Fridays in class.  Please let Coach Funk know ahead of time if you need to make up a missed test or if you would like to retake one.


Donations

We will gladly accept any donations to help improve or maitain our Physical Education program. That might include used equipment that is still safe and useable.
