This year Hunter Elementary School is participating in the Ken Garth Reading Program. The school has a goal of reading 2,000,000 minutes from September 22nd until the end of May. Our classroom goal is 75,000 minutes for the year - that means approximately 9,375 minutes every month. For every 100 minutes that a student reads they will be given a ticket for a chance to win a new bicycle. Two new boys and two new girls bikes will be given away at our PTA Assembly in May.
