Hello and Welcome to Food Science!
With the kitchen as our laboratory we'll be cooking up all sorts of delectable treats including things we make from the school garden such as salsa and zucchini bread, and dishes to sell in the student store such as smoothies and sushi. During first quarter we'll focus on kitchen skills, food safety, and fresh ingredients.

You will be evaluated on kitchen responsibility, cooking skills, science skills, science content, and student store responsibility. You can check your progress on our SIS system. Contact your advisor for log in information.

Your homework assignment every week is to cook something at home and write me a review about. A copy of the form is in the My Documents section below. A parent also has to review your work and sign the back. These forms are due EACH Tuesday.
