Announcements

We're now studying momentum and impulse.  It's covered in Chapter 9.  (Note that we are skipping Chapter 8, whcih is too bad because it's a good chapter.  Unfortunatley, we don't have time to do everything in the book.)

It's too soon to say when our next test will be.  Expect it sometime in early December.  I'll post the exact date here when the time gets closer.


Assignments

Recent assignments (since our last test) are...

Due Mon, Nov 23 - Chapter 9: 22-25 all, and 48,56,66,72.  Also, please at least try the challenge problems (both 1 and 2) on page 244. 
Due Wed, Nov 18 - (1) Rework the problems that you missed from the last test.
and   (2) Write up a report for the collision lab that we did in class.  (If you need another copy of the handout, it can be downloaded from the list of documents at the right side of this web page.)
Due Mon, Nov. 16 - Chapter 9, 1-5 all, and 13-21 all.  (Note:  When you read the chapter you can skip pages 233-235.)

Old assignments are shown below.  Since we've already taken the test on this material it's now too late to turn these in for credit.  However, you should still do them if you didn't do them before.  You'll need to know this material since the new topics we learn will build upon the older topics.
