Absent Work Routine

1.  Check my website (http://my.uen.org/79194).  Good job, because you're already here!  Check the outline of what we've been doing to see what you've missed.

2.  Copy the homework, starter, and notes from a classmate.

3.  Double check the homework, starter, and notes from 1-2 more classmates to make sure they're accurate.

4.  Pick up any paperwork you missed from the basket on the back table on the left.  Make sure it's from the top basket, labeled in blue.

5.  Hand in any makeup work to the basket on the back table on the right.  Make sure it's the top basket, labeled in blue. 

6.  Arrange to take any tests or quizzes you missed within one week.

Ninth-Grade Language Credit

Ninth-grade students may earn 1.00 credit for this course.  By successfully completing three trimesters of course work you can earn  .75 credits.  An additional .25 credit may be earned by demonstrating competency in the subject by 1) earning a grade of A in the class and taking the end of level test, or 2) passing the end-of-level test at a grade of C or better, or 3) successfully completing a make up packet and retaking the test with a grade of C or better.  (Contact the counseling center if this is something your student needs to do.)

The comprehensive test will be held on May 25 (level 2) and May 26 (level 1)If you plan to be absent on either of those days, you'll need to take the test before that time.

18:  Review music vocabulary and modals.  Take notes on mögen.  Practice asking people their opinions of bands, music, etc.  Complete show and tell worksheet.  Hand in Euro and hall passes for the trimester.  Finish copying strong verbs into dictionary.

16:  Create entertainment section, and take notes on music vocabulary.  Finish and hand in test corrections.  Finish group weak verbs review.  Review gefallen, kennen, wissen, and take notes on Was für.  Complete worksheet on commenting about music.  Select show and tell item.  Copy strong verb past participles into your dictionary by next week.
