Science Disclosure [8th & 9thGrades] Mrs. White, Instructor, Rm 209, Olympus Junior High School ewhite@graniteschools.org Welcome! Science this year will emphasize active learning. Science is a doing thing, so we will ask big questions, seek solutions to problems, formulate and test hypotheses, analyze data, report findings and enjoy presentations. All students are expected to complete projects as self-motivated learners. TESTS - Test questions are based on material written on the board and in assignments or class lecture/demonstrations. Please take notes! - LATE WORK - No late work is accepted. No exceptions. * There is Extra Credit for the following: experiments done at home and written up, bringing in guest speakers or presenters, and for webquests and activities done on the sites listed at ewhite.myedesk.org NOTE: extra credit cannot exceed 5% of grade.
