I have told the students (in the morning class only) that if they can pass off all of their letter names and sounds to me before Christmas they get a special award.  Please work on these at home using flashcards, magnetic letters, writing and reading each night to help your child reach this goal.  Thanks!

I have sent home with each class a POW! game.  Please read the instructions and find some time to play this game with your child often - this will help in their goal to pass off their letters (a.m.) and words (p.m.).

Our Thanksgiving Feast was totally awesome!!  Thanks a billion to our fabulous CET for both classes and other parents that took so much time to plan, donate, and carry out such a wonderful time!  

Great News!!  The afternoon class won the contest for donating the most food for our food drive!  Congratulations!  They have won a pizza party which will be on Wednesday of this week.  So you can send your child to school a little hungry on Wednesday and we'll have pizza right when they get here.
