It was a biology class my first year in college that made me want to become a science teacher.  I was fascinated with the diversity of life on Earth.  That fascination is something I hope for my students to experience.  In biology class this year, students can expect to learn from many topics that all fit under the larger umbrella of Biology:  ecology, the function and structure of cells, organs, and organ systems, and the way that life on Earth has changed over time.  I look forward to learning about the natural world with you this year
