Homework

1. Reading- Your child should be reading everyday 10-15 minutes

• Depending on reading ability it could look like:
  • parent reads outloud to child; student tracks parent's words with finger
  • student and parent read simultaneously (on same word at same time)
  • student reads and tracks words with finger; parent listens, watches, and assists when needed
  • student reads outloud; parent listens and asks comprehension questions
    

2. Packet- You should receive your homework on Monday. It needs to be turned in before or on Thursday.

  • Wonderful Weekly Newsletter- There is no need to return this page.
  • Reading Comprehension Page (due on or before Thurs.)
  • Weekly Spelling Words (tests on Friday)
