CLASSROOM GOALS

     I feel as your child's teacher that I have the responsibility to help the students in my classroom grow into capable human beings and to feel successful.  Teaching the "basics' is very important, but it is not enough.  A person who can read, write and do arithmetic, but is afraid and lonely, or is hostile will not be able to cope with the world, much less fin fulfillment or happiniess in life.  I feel it is very important to help sutdents raise their expectaions for themselves and for each other by teaching them that everyone is "intelligent" in his or her own way.
