This year’s course of study for sixth grade is world history. Greece is one of the countries we have and are studying. If your child missed the Cultural Awareness Event at school and missed their 100 points, they can make it up by doing the following:
5 page report on Greece. Include:
Ø A Map of Greece and its islands.
Ø The History of Greece
§ Important people and their contribution to Greece.
§ Major wars: why the war was fought, who they fought, and the outcomes
§ Time Line of Major Events

§ Name the different Styles of Architecture, the time periods they happened, and give examples of each. What brought about the changes in the styles?.
§ What are 3 major architectures still remaining today? Give an example of each.
