In 5th grade, we are studying American History.  We learn about explorers, then colonization.  We continue with the American Revolution, Western Expansion and learn about the Civil War.  We then study immigration, World War I and World War II and finally end up in modern times.  It's a quick trip but worth the time and effort.  Parents, please let me know if you can add to any of these areas with stories, heirlooms, or pictures.  We can learn so much from you!
