We use a research based math program from the University of Chicago called Everyday Mathematics.  It is amazing because it teaches math from our students' EVERYDAY LIFE.  Mental math is practiced everyday as well as review of previously learned concepts.  Please read the Family Letter that comes home at the beginning of each unit so you can support your children as they learn and grow in math.  Homework is an important component and you will see it daily--Study Links.  Your child should come home knowing how to do their homework so sit back and watch them learn and grow!
