Three assignments before parent teacher conference are due:

Foreshortened picture or self portrait.  This can be done in a variety of techniques.  (collage, pencil, water color, guaoche) Please see ideas in books or hand out in class. 

Please keep up your studio experience.  Each term you should complete over six pieces of breadth along with developing work to apply to your concentration (2-4 pieces depending on the term).  The last term you might be creating more than ten pieces for your concentration. 

The readers are looking for 1.  skill development/depth, (please see class rubric).  2. development or growth in your ideas and technique.  3.  strong principles of design. 

Work diligently and always keep the momentum.
