First week of May:
3. Grid chalk drawings on outside sidewalks.
Second week: finish grid drawings and Continue figure drawing
Third week of May: 2 scratchboard drawings (follow a drawing from the book--two from the book and one of choice).
Fourth week of May: Watercolor still life.
skills:
1. drawing from sight (free--no crippling grid nor copy machine) using human form (cutting up what you see into shapes, lines, shadows and then work on detail)
2. drawing from memory by mapping out (using correct proportional dimentions of simple shapes--then work on detail)
3. Shading using hatch, cross hatch, stipple, and others. Blending using chalk
4. Creating texture, 3D, glass, and landscape using shading techniques
5. making drawings have depth with use of linear perspective
6. developing creativity
7. Understanding Art through Aesthetic, Criticism, Art History, and Visual Cutlure disciplines.
8. Experiment in other media: painting, chalk, oil.
9. Work on community (community projects like sidewalk drawings and tagging)
