I would encourage you as a family to checkout the Lindon & Valley View Online UTIPS Tests in order to help your child check to see their understand of the state core objectives necessary to pass this grade level. They simple click on the grade level link to see tests available. Next they click on the test they desire to take and do detail login. They must click in one of the radial buttons on each questions so the test doesn't give them a zero grade. When the test is finished they need to click on the SUBMIT Button and then click the OKAY button to send their choices to be graded. You can see their grade and then click on VIEW FULL REPORT to see their choices that were right (a green check) and wrong choices are mark in red x. The correct answers are not given in the test so that they can review and retake the test later again.

Lindon Instruction

Week: Nov.2nd - 6th
Students will work on keyboarding on the following website: FreeTypingGame.Net, while learning how to type the keys - S and L with their hands covered. I will show some of these wonderful links of - keyboarding sites on the internet you can use at home.

Students will also learn the basic parts of the computer and I will teach the Keyboarding Techniques necessary to help students be successful as a typist. I have some wonderful files you can download (see My Documents) and some online webtests for student use at home to learn these concepts. We will be having a test on Oct. 27th on the following items: Names of Fingers, Basic Parts of the Computer. Then on November 3, we will have a test on Keyboarding Techniques. You can see your students grades online at the Lindon Skyward link if you can remember your login name and password.

Students will also work on a picture in either SeaShore or TuxPaint.

Valley View Instruction
