Friday: 1:00 - 1:30 pm Bunker, 1:30 pm Mr. Walker

Week: Nov. 2nd - 6th

         Students will work on keyboarding on the following website: FreeTypingGame.Net, while learning how to type the keys - Lessons #5 (Shift) with their hands covered.  

     Students will also makeup any tests they did not do well on or were absent when we tested everyone in the 6th grade. You can see your students grades on Skyward.

     Students will also work on a picture in either SeaShore or TuxPaint.

Valley View Instruction

Tuseday: 8:50 - 9:30 am Santamaria, 10:10 - 10:50 am Nielsen, 10:50 - 11:30 am King

     Students will also work on a picture in Kidpix.

 


Announcements/Parent Information

     I would encourage you as a family to checkout the Lindon & Valley View Online UTIPS Tests  in order to help your child check to see their understand of the state core objectives necessary to pass this grade level.  They simple click on the grade level link to see tests available.  Next they click on the test they desire to take and do detail login.  They must click in one of the radial buttons on each questions so the test doesn't give them a zero grade.  When the test is finished they need to click on the SUBMIT Button and then click the OKAY button to send their choices to be graded.   You can see their grade and then click on VIEW FULL REPORT to see their choices that were right (a green check) and wrong choices are mark in red x.  The correct answers are not given in the test so that they can review and retake the test later again.

     I will be striving to help each young men to pass off their computer merit badge while they are attending computer class this year at school. Here is a weblink to a fantastic website that walks through each objective with links to websites on the internet which can help the schout to complete each objective. Computer Merit Badge - eScouting.net or the Computer Merit Badge - Boy Scouts of America. This website has the following handouts: Requiresments and worksheet in Word Format and Adode Acrobat Format. Merit Badge names and links to the worksheets represent the new merit badges where the requirements changed with the publication of new requirements in the August 1, 2008.
