Open Text Book is a registry of textbooks (and related materials) which are open — that is free for anyone to use, reuse and redistribute

The Open Book Project is aimed at the educational community and seeks to encourage and coordinate collaboration among students and teachers for the development of high quality, freely distributable textbooks and educational materials.

The project will create open content electronic textbooks that will be freely available from a website. Distribution will also be possible via paper, CD, or DVD.

The group's focus is on developing free textbooks (also by using public domain books and other other materials). We seek both to find ways to work together and also to find best practices when working apart.
