Dear Families:

      Thanks in advance for all of your support with this upcoming week.  Tuesday we will be celebrating the 100th day of school.  Each child will need to bring a collection of 100 things to school.  They can be edible or a simple collection of erasers, pennies, or anything small enough to fit in a lunch sack.  Thursday is the Science Fair- please have your reports to school before Thursday.  Friday we will be celebrating Valentines day.   If you choose to bring valentines- please bring them for everyone.  We will be making valentines envelopes in class so students do not need to bring a box for valentine collections (but may if they choose to.) 

Our field trip to the zoo is Friday, February 19th.  We are in need of parent volunteers to help us supervise the students at the zoo.  The first four parents to sign up will get in for free, any additional will cost $9 each.  Please let your child's teacher know if you are interested in attending.  Parent volunteers are not permitted to have additional children with them.  Sorry this is a new zoo rule.
