Your child has homework each night.  Make sure that your child is doing the following things each night:

• Reading for 30 minutes each school night.
• Practicing math facts for 5 minutes each school night.
• Practicing spelling words (The pretest is usually on Wednesday and the post test is usually on Friday or the last day of the school week).
• Homework folder checks are on the last day of the school week where the reading log and math homework is due.  There is usually a double sided math homework sheet each school night.
• When homework is graded your child will bring home a homework progress sheet for you to sign and your child will return the next school day.
