This is it! :)  Tuesday we go to SLC to the Children's Discovery Museum and film for KSL.  Then we'll zip over to the Utah Museum of Natural History for a DNA/traits science class.  This will be an extrodinary day!  Remember, all permission slips must be turned in by Monday, and each student is responsible to make up missed work in math and language arts.  (They should all get their work on Monday from their teachers).  Please send with your child: a disposable sack lunch, a coat or jacket and a good attitude.  I would like them to wear (if possible) navy pants with a white polo or tan pants with a navy polo.  Of course, any uniform (except Friday t-shirt) is acceptable, but I thought it would look extra nice this way.  Please do not let them bring: backpacks or purses, money or cameras.  If any of those items are brought, they will stay locked in our classroom or on the bus.

Look for book orders to come home this week.  They will be due next Friday (since I'm a little late getting them out).

There is a lot of sickness going around.  If your child is exhibiting symptoms such as a sore throat or fever or other sickness, please keep them home.  Also, if they are sluggish and don't feel good, they shouldn't be at school.  If they have had a fever, they should stay home for 24 hours after the fever breaks.  Thanks and let's have a healthy winter!
