The following are some of the ways that would be great to have you help with our class this year: I would love to have you come in and read to the students at lunch time. Monday, Thursday & Friday from 11:55 - 12:20 is available. Also Wednesdays at 11-11:25. Please let me know when you'd like to come. If you don't want to commit long-term, just shoot me an e-mail the night before or that morning and let me know if you plan to come. Or, just show up.
Sign up to be a room mom or help with CET's or come in to do PE (Monday & Thursday at 2:20). Every Friday we will have computer time from 2:40-3:10 and I can always use parent help then. Book orders, filing, copying, I need some files organized, etc.
If you would like to be able to do recess or chew time by yourself, get a background check. Bring in a finger print card, filled out, and a $15 check to Mr. Schellhous (make the check payable to Odyssey, the check & card go to Mr. Schellhous). Most city police stations will finger print residents for free. This will allow you to be alone with the class.

We are in the home stretch! Only 4 days left of school (remember, Wednesday & Friday are early-out days at 1:15).
Little Schedule:
Tuesday: finishing up Rome unit & Reviewing for final;
Wednesday: Rome final in the morning; dance festival at noon; early out (please have kids bring a t-shirt, ball cap & jeans to change into at lunch time - also a bat if they haven't brought it yet).
Thursday: Rome CET from 1-3pm. We will be doing 3 plays in our classroom from 1-1:30 before we go down to the CET. Every student in our class has a part, please come and watch.
Friday: yearbooks! Award ceremony at noon; ice cream party; early out - Last Day of School!
I have loved teaching your children this year! They are fabulous and I love each one of them. I will miss seeing them this summer. You will still be able to get to my website and you can access the games & online learning activities. I am adding some math sites also. Please continue to have your children read EVERY day, so they don't digress. Also, it's important that they know their multiplication tables. Please have them practice this summer.
