In our homeroom class, we are listening/reading the book, The Tale of Despereaux.

This has been a really fun book and when we are done, we will be watching the movie and comparing the book and the movie.

Homeword Policy

 Homework Policy for 3rd Grade

Here is the homework policy for the rest of the school year. All homework will be due on Thursday. If an assignment is given on Monday or Tuesday, it is due on Thursday, unless explained otherwise. Homework assignments are listed on the board and discussed with the class, so that all the students know exactly what they need to have finished and bring with them on Thursday. Of course, arrangements will be made if your child is absent.

Work turned in after Thursday will not receive any credit. We do understand that sometimes emergencies arise making it difficult to complete an assignment, so please let your teacher know in writing when this is the case. However, this is to be used for emergencies only and should not occur more than once or twice per trimester.

Students should be doing assignments as they are assigned during the week, so that they aren’t saving everything until Wednesday night. Please remind your child on Wednesday that their assignments are due on Thursday.
