Types of Clouds

 

Your Assignment:

 

1.  Choose one of the following three types of clouds to present on:  Cumulus, Cumulonimbus, Stratus, or Cirrus.

2.  Go to the Science tab of my website.  You are to research the types of clouds. Click and explore each of the following websites: Cloud Cover, Identifying Clouds,  and Weather Whiz kids – Clouds.

3.  Take notes on the cloud of your choice.  Find out all you can about that type of cloud. 

Note: Your notes may be either on a paper, or you can open a word document and take notes there.

4.  Create a visual representation of your type of cloud that shows and explains your type of cloud.  If you would like to put words on your visual to explain, you may. You can create the visual in power point, word, Interwrite, or paint.

5.  You will present to the class on the type of cloud you chose.  You will tell what you learned about that type of cloud and display your visual.

6.  Each partner needs to fill out a rubric.  Make sure your name is on it. 

7.  Be happy you’re done!
