| Announcements Here is the Theatre class schedule: Monday: 3:10pm - 6:00pm Wednesday: 2:45pm - 6:00pm
Class lesson Summaries: Technology for Theatre: Students will study and operate various types of theatre equipment and learn the art of stagecraft. This class will be very hands on and will continue throughout production of this semesters play. Acting for Theatre: Students will engage in a variety of acting exercises and techniques. They will prepare monologues, dialogues and learn the process of auditioning for different productions. Writing for Theatre: Students will study the writing techniques and write their own script to be performed by the acting students. Film Club: (Optional) This is a social club that will study and discuss various comedic techniques of AFI’s top films. Students will be required to take notes and write reviews on each film we watch.
City Academy and Urban Dragon Productions presents Bang, Bang You're Dead Written by William Mastrosimone This play was made to show and end violence and teasing between teenagers in schools. The play centers on the lead character Josh, a teenage boy who shoots his parents and five schoolmates and is then haunted by physical manifestations of his memories of them. Bang Bang You're Dead by William Mastrosimone, is strongly based on the events surrounding Kip Kinkel. |
