Veterans Day is Nov. 11.  I am wondering if any of our Kindergartners are related to any veterans.  Would you let me know if this is the case?

We need any paper towel and toilet paper rolls you could send our way by Friday, November 13!!

Beginning Reading Program  Your child will bring home a paper to read to you.  This week we are focused on short "o" words.  We will do #13 - #16.  Please sign and return as it is part of your child's reading grade.  Every time your child turns in 10 sheets he/she will get to shop at the "Sunshine Store!" 

Speaking of the "Sunshine Store," many of you clean out your toy closets before the arrival of Santa.  If you have any items that are still in good condition that you would love to "recylce", please send them to Kindergarten.  The children love to be rewarded and this has been a fun way to do it!  Thanks for helping out!

Last year the Kindergartners planted pumpkins in the spring and now as 1st Graders they have the pumpkins which they grew!  I have been offered two sqaure-foot gardening frames for the school and would love to have them to repeat this project for your children.  Is there anyone who could help transport those frames to our school?
