Core Academy Participants:  In the documents section you may download pages that will help you with surface area of triangular prisms.  There is a page of triangles, showing equilateral triangles, isosceles triangles without a right angle, isosceles triangles with a right angle, and scalene right triangles.  Students need to visualize these different kinds of triangles before they can recognize the varieties of triangular prisms.  Then there are practice pages for calculating surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms.  There are also patterns for nets of isosceles and scalene right prisms.
