We work in class on fluency and comprehension. 

On Fridays we work on Rewards,  and on the other four days we work on comprehension by reading and doing

worksheets at our own speed.  Weekly Reader comes once a week.  Homework is to read twenty minutes

every night on our own level. January 26th we worked on timed readings from Rewards ( lesson 14 )

and then we discussed main idea, time order,  details and outlining, using overhead transparencies.  On the 27th we will begin

a test on reading skills and on the 28th, we will finish it and read a Weekly Reader.  Practicing fluency occurs each day with Mrs.
