Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Lori completed her bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education at the University of Utah. She and her husband, Steve moved to Pasadena, California where they both attended the Art Center College of Design and later lived in Los Gatos, California, San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. Lori taught for two years at a Montessori school in California. She holds a current Level 2 Utah teaching certificate and feels it a privilege to nurture the creativity of the wonderful students at Soldier Hollow. Most of her work the past 15 years has been in photography both as a commercial and fine arts photographer. Lori and Steve have one daughter, Sophie, currently in the seventh grade at Soldier Hollow. Lori has been committed to the mission and success of Soldier Hollow by helping with the transition from Sundance as a founder and former board member. In her free time she loves to ski powder and climb mountains.
