Day-in-Review

"Oh...nothing."

Isn't that the typical response that many students make when asked what they did at school?  Well, you can believe me when I say that we do much more in class than "nothing"! :)  Sometimes all your child needs to give you a direct response to your questions is a little reminder of exactly what they did in class.  For this purpose, I have created the student Day-in-Review page.

On their Day-in-Review pages, students can record what they learned in class and what activities they participated in.  This document also serves as a student assignment tracker; they can record what their assignments are for each day of the week.

So, the next time you want to know what your child did at school, be sure to ask to see their Day-in-Review Page.  If your child has lost his or her Day-in-Review page, you may print another one by clicking on the link to the right.

Study Tips

Here are some important study tips:

  • Study in a quiet place.
  • Get rid of distractions--turn off the T.V., video games, CD and mp3 players.  This will help you focus on your studying.
  • Speak outloud.  This will help you "teach yourself."
  • Stay focused and study for at least 20 minutes.  5 minutes is not enough time!
  • Have a parent, brother, sister, relative, or neighbor quiz you on what you studied.

If you follow these tips, you will more easily remember and understand what Mr. Eagar teaches in the classroom.  Study hard!  You can do hard things!
