1. Take home your Uncle Al Star Wheel and find the following constellations: Pegasus, Cassiopeia and Perseus. They should be out in the early evening right now.
2. Next go our around 8:30p.m. in your backyard and let your parent or guardian know what you are doing, they may want to join you(!) and find the constellation Orion rising in the east over the mountains.
3. Practice finding 3 constellations that are interesting to you and write them in your log book with the date, a quick drawing of what they look like and what time you observed the constellaton.
4. Bring your log book to our next meeting for review and sharing.
