7th GRADE STUDENTS--Your 3-ring binder/portfolio is brought to class every period.  This is how we will organize/record/track your individual progress.  Don't forget your reading tally sheet (30-minutes minimum x 5 times weekly at home) and learning log tally sheet (3 pages a week in class/at home) are due every two weeks.  PARENT SIGNATURES ARE MANDATORY!!!!  Learning logs  and tally sheets will become part of your portfolio, so be impeccably honest.  One creative book review is due each quarter. Effort equals achievement.   You'll be surprised how quickly you'll see remarkable results with consistent effort on your part. 

 WRITING LAB STUDENTS--Your 3-ring binder/portfolio is brought to class every period.  We will be adding things every class period as a way of organizing/recording/tracking your learning.  You will have a reading tally sheet  and learning log tally if you are not in my 7th grade English class.  This should be a great way of keeping on track and working toward your AR points for your other English teacher!

BEGINNING ORAL ESL STUDENTS--Your 3-ring binders/portfolios are kept in class for the 1st quarter.
