The last day I will accept late work/ makeup work/ re-do assignments for this term will be Wednesday, May 28th.  Please turn it in by 3:00 p.m. on or before that date.  No exceptions!

This year in the Art Department, we are offering the following classes:  Intermediate Art, Drawing 1 (the high-school level beginning art class), Photography 1 and 2, and 3-D Design.  In order to take one of these art electives, students must first take (and pass) Art Foundations.  Please talk to one of the counselors or to Ms. Stevens or me for more details about each class.

As usual, we are already thinking ahead to spring and the annual O.J.H. Student Art Show.  Any student can enter (not just art students).  Students in all art classes except Art Foundations will be required to enter at least one piece of their best work in the show, so it's good to start planning now!  Dates of the show are from Monday, April 7th until Friday, April 11th.  (The Artist's Reception will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, from 4:30 - 6:30.)  Deadline for entry is Wednesday, April 2nd to Moffat or Stevens.
