Our school is doing a Thanksgiving food drive in order to help some local families who would not otherwise have a Thanksgiving be able to celebrate this wonderful holiday. Each class is assigned to bring different items. Fourth-graders are assigned cans of vegetables. Please send cans of vegetables with your child to class!

Remember to do your daily reading! By reading 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week you can earn special prizes from Pizza Hut! Don't forget to record your reading and turn in your paper at the end of the month!

For this unit's science test we will be doing class presentations. Each student has been assigned a group and a subject. They individually write a page about their subject, then do a presentation as a class. Students have sheets detailing who is in their groups and the exact requirements. Students will then take structured notes as they watch their classmates perform, and will have a quiz based on what they learned. They are pretty excited, but still might need some reminding to get it done!
