I am teaching an ESL class and a Technical Writing class.  My goal in both classes is to help students improve their skills in essay writing so that they can pass any writing assessment they face and to better prepare them for the writing world.

This quarter I am also teaching a class called Literature and Film.  In this class we will be using a literature cirlce approach to reading books made into movies.  All of our discussion and analysis will be focused around why were created the way they were in both the books and the films.  We will be using critical literature based questions.

Finally, I am teaching a Language Arts Support class.  In this class we will be learning spelling, vocabulary, grammar strategies all to help increase reading comprehension.  We will spend sometime on specific reading strategies and finally learning ways to write to communicate what is learened through the reading.
